Explain some of the beneficial and/or non-beneficial effects that maintaining a weblog seems to have on writing style. Think not only about the actual format of writing, but also how writing for an audience may influence the writing process. How has maintaining a weblog influenced your own writing style during these past few weeks? How might these writing skills assist you either personally or professionally in the future?

In this section weblogs came in handy and had some very important and interesting ways of being maintained. The benefits and non beneficial ways of maintaining a weblog are very easy to explain, but can be difficult to catch if you haven't read up on the online etiquette. I am going to explain how maintaining a web journal can make you a better writer and how not to go about expressing yourself to an audience of people you don't know. One of the first ways weblogs were beneficial were they allowed people to share their opinion in an open fashion without being ridiculed for their thoughts and personal experiences helped pave the way journals were ordered. Either by formal writings of reoccurring events or informal entries of things that have happened that day that someone else might find interesting. Maintaining a weblog can be very simple. It can be written in everyday and the entries could be the short and simple or they could be written in as things happen. They are al very good ways to share things you find on the internet and think that your viewing audience might have some intrest in the subjects. You could attach links, pictures, feeds, and videos to your weblog journals if those are the kinds of things you are in to. There are also some very poor ways of maintaining a weblog. In the book "Weblog Handbook" by Rebecca Blood she explains the way things should and shouldn't be done. One of the first things she says is you should not write about things that only you find interesting. I think she said this because you do not have a general audience and the people that read your weblog is forever changing and just because one person finds what you wrote is great one day you could write on that same topic the next day and someone tell you how they feel, this is also important to know because it is very important that you watch the things you write because people get to know you by your thoughts and if you write something offensive your online reputation will be tarnished because that is how your audience is trying to get to know you.Personally, I think these exercises can make you a better writer by making you aware of the things you write and how to word them so that they appeal to the people that read it. As a student assignments get harder as you progress in school and the way you look on paper tell your teacher a lot about you as an individual. I hope that in your own weblog you take these things into consideration and write your feelings as they come while trying to entertain and audience.
